Water has always been very fascinating to paint for me, particularly the reflections. But  in this painting,  I've attempted to capture the shining, shimmering effect of light falling on water. Another challenge was to get the correct perspective to depict the vastness of  the water as if stretches to a long distance from the viewer towards the distant mountains and the perspective here has to be achieved with receding water drops only. Hope I managed to do that. Comments are welcome!


With analogous color scheme for this painting I could get more control over the values and get the shining water drops.
