"Amman" temple sketch


200+ years old temple in our village amongst farmlands. The deity is a goddess called "Amman", every village here has such a temple for goddess.

Meeting with Minister S. Iswaran

Yesterday, we, a group of sketchers, had a meeting with Minster S. Iswaran, at Amaravati Exhibition space in Temasek Polytechnic. And a casual chat about our experience and thoughts about sketching Amaravati, the new capital of Andhra Pradesh.

"We Draw Amaravati Together" by Urban Sketchers Singapore.















The Centre for TransCultural Studies of Temasek Polytechnic presents the exhibition "We Draw Amaravati Together" by Urban Sketchers Singapore.
This project is presented by the Amaravati Partnership Office of the Ministry of Trade & Industry and Temasek Polytechnic, with Urban Sketchers Singapore.

The show runs 17 April to 20 June 2018; 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, Monday–Friday; it will be closed on public holidays.
We will also have open weekends on the first and third Saturdays of each month, during the run of the show; the dates are 21 April; 5 & 19 May; 2 & 16 Jun, 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.

We Draw Amaravati Together Exhibition

Seeing life and landscape of India through the eyes of Urban Sketchers Singapore. For us, it has been an unforgettable experience, for you it will be definitely a visual treat.....Inviting you for the exhibition opening on Monday evening!! All are welcome!!!


The Centre for TransCultural Studies of Temasek Polytechnic presents the exhibition "We Draw Amaravati Together" by Urban Sketchers Singapore.

The exhibition opens on 16 April, Monday at 6:30 pm; we are honoured to have Mr Khoo Teng Chye, executive director of Centre for Liveable Cities grace the occasion.

This project is presented by the Amaravati Partnership Office of the Ministry of Trade & Industry and Temasek Polytechnic, with Urban Sketchers Singapore.

Lunch with Minister

Minister Desmond Lee, Minister for Social and Family Development and Second Minister in the Ministry of National Development of Singapore hosted us, the artists who sketched Amaravati and guests from India at URA, Urban redevelopment Authority. Schoolism - Week 5

Week 5- Assignment from Schoolism's "Landscape Sketching in Watercolor and Gouache" by Nathan Fowkes.

"Edges" were the inclusive criteria for this week along with other principles. I'm still on my way in getting convincing light, atmosphere and temperature. Happy learning!!
