I'm glad to be invited to give a talk and workshop at the National museum of Singapore for "A Lighter Side of History: The Art of the Rangoli" on last Saturday 3rd, November. Delighted to share some of the fascinating facts about Rangoli,it's bond with Math and Science and we had a short workshop thereafter :)

Sketching after a long time....messed up the sketch totally, must go again...but happy to have started my routine again. The thing in front is a Startfruit tree, abundant with fruits. I saw a couple of parrots feeding on them lavishly.

August Sketchwalk

August Sketchwalk at Kampong Java Park, behind KK Women's and Children's Hospital. I have special memories about this place during my both pregnancies. I used to have a stroll in this park after the check-ups, maybe I just wanted to be with the beautiful greens and flowers, sad that this place is going to be demolished for development.

A community garden

A community garden in Fernvale, Singapore. The aunty taking care of the garden told me she comes in morning and evening everyday. She is still here now (10:30am) when I'm sketching this.
