Steps in working with Gouache. I used Cadmium yellow, Cadmium Red and Cerulean Blue with Titanium white.

Which one you like? old vs new......Glad I captured the old look last year in it's brink of change.

Compass One

The Sengkang Compass Point Mall had been closed for renovation for nearly a year and came back with a fresh look with a new name, Compass One. With more residents looking forward, the mall was re-opened in September 2016. Additional facilities are a wet playground for kids, Sengkang Public Library now occupying two levels, many new shops and eateries. The exterior design had a nautical themed design which I think has been down played in this look.

Again

Community garden near block 324D, had an hour before picking up kids from their schools.

St. John's Island, Sg

Sengkang west Zone D RC had arranged for a half-day leisure outing to St. John's Island yesterday. Wonderfully organised by the team with games, competitions, gifts, lucky draw and snacks. I managed to sketch the activities while kids and hubby were enjoying the games :)

Still experimenting with tools......Sketching with pen/pencil minimises my sketching gear weight and eases the process especially on family outings.
