Portrait comission

Recently I completed an oil painting for Ms.Cherie, it is a portrait painting of all her family members, size 18" by 24". I enjoyed working on the figures, especially her cute kids! Wish them happy and prosperous years ahead!!

I'm happy that this artwork fetched S$1888 for the charity in silent auction category. This abstract artwork is inspired by the colors of Turquoise Parrot (Neophema pulchella) and focuses on harmonious colors. This predominant cool color palette is designed to carry a relaxed feel and ambiance around itself.

The Palawan beach in Sentosa is one of Singapore's family-friendly spots, people visiting throughout the year to cool themselves from scorching Sun. This is an aerial view of the beach from a small islet off the coast coast which is said to be the Southernmost Point of Continental Asia, or Asia's closest point to the Equator.

 I tried this painting in Oil medium, my previous ones are done in Acrylic, every medium has its own pros.

This is my first painting after a visit to my hometown, it has been a long time since I posted here. This scene is again from the riverside track, there are few such shrubs and they have started to bloom with gorgeous lavender  flowers!
