Schoolism

Week 3- Assignment from Schoolism's "Landscape Sketching in Watercolor and Gouache"

For 3rd week, Nathan allowed us to use pigments but limited to yellow ochre, venetian red, ultramarine blue, permanent sap green, and van dyke brown. I couldn't find them here in Sg nor wanted to wait for them if I order online, so substituted with Yellow Ochre, Mars red, ultramarine Blue, Olive green and Raw Umber. These are the ones I could get here close to the suggested pigments. Definitely the end results vary, but a little try than nothing at all.

Art Science Workshop

Recently have been working on a project for an upcoming Art Science Workshop for kids. This mini Smart city has safe and energy efficient lighting system powered by an interactive circuitry. It was fun to do this stop-motion video with little help from my son.

Today,s work

Can't resist sketching this little flower pot. I was watching these tiny red sparkles complementing with the green foliage and was waiting to give a try.

Garden in swimming pool

A corner of the garden in Anchorvale Swimming Complex. Sketched for an hour there when kids were in their swimming lessons, completed later at home.
