Kids Art @myartsandcreatives 2014 - Singapore landscape 1

Having gone through the necessary basics so far, now it's time to start painting some of the local scenes.......I showed photos for reference and explained the students how to develop a drawing from photos/pictures by editing out the details, only seeing the big shapes first.

Urban sketch in Charcoal


Tongkang LRT, Charcoal on paper.........sketched this from the walkway connecting nearby HDB and carpark. The word "Tongkang" refers to a kind of boat, most of the places in and around Sengkang have been given water/marine related names.
